Kuopusmaa kennel

I started my hobby with beagles back in 1980 when I got my first beagle, Jamina. At first I was planning on getting a finnish hound dog but because it's size, I decided to take beagle insted, and I haven't regret the decision.
I got the name for my kennel "Kuopusmaa" in 1990. The name comes after the farm I live in.
I've also breeded some dachshunds. Kuopusmaan Jupe (SF-10753/92) could be a good example of dachshunds who got FT CH (field trial champion) title in 1994, and also was CH.
For the lack of time I had to give up dachshunds.
Jetta (EK 938) was one of my best beagles. Even when in dog pound her foreface was always towards the woods. When her last puppies were 3 weeks old, Jetta's instinct took her after a rabbit. She got hit by a car. The litter survived with bottle feeding.
Over all Jetta had 41 progenies, 2 of them were WT CH (working trial champion).
